The power of the Internet has brought in a new era of helping animals in need, and one of the best ways is for special needs animals. Dogs, cats, and other pets born with disabilities, or those who may have been injured, used to often be euthanized under the assumption that they can’t or won’t live healthy, happy lives. But today, that’s all changing as more cause organizations and people are stepping up, from creating prosthetics for animals, to wheelchairs and other innovations, and of course raising plenty of awareness.
This week, a very special dog named Quasi The Great is doing just that, giving all of us a reminder that the purr-fect pet can come in a variety of shapes and forms. Quasi was born with “short spine syndrome,” but that hasn’t made him any less lovable or awesome. Let’s help raise awareness for Quasi and other special needs animals! Please share Quasi’s story, and all of the stories of animals of all kinds.
