A dog that had fallen into a well was rescued at long last this past week. Local children had been keeping the dog alive by giving it food until it could be rescued. After rescuers went into the well and helped the dog out, it was learned that it was an elderly dog who was also blind. While nobody knows if the dog fell into the well or was put there, it’s said that he is in surprisingly good health, and is now in foster care getting the love and care he should have and needs, and plenty of love and belly rubs. The rescuers named him “Christmas.” We think you’re a miracle too, Christmas. What a wonderful, happy ending!
