There was a paw-tastic pet story this past week about how movie star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson helped to save a puppy that was named in his honor. The pup had been rescued and saved from abuse, and turned out to need surgery for a heart murmur. True to action hero form, The Rock stepped in and donated to cover the cost. Like many celebrities, he’s been known as a long-time animal lover. It is no surprise to hear that he was willing to help.
